Samples or Customers?

The annual cost for samples is hundreds of thousands in small and middle-sized enterprises. It is such a huge cost. But how many customers can this cost bring to us?
The friends often complain: the cost of samples and courier is wasted. It really hurts without return. Now, we will sort it out due to my experiences on this issue.
 Let’s see what kind of people ask for free samples:
1.        These people think that the samples can be received from so many companies. They think it is such a tiny cost for company. They can meet their demand by taking free samples from varies enterprise.
PS. They show no respect to salesmen. When we provide the free samples with courier freight, the order would no longer be yours when you discuss it with them.
2.        Samples for testing. They do not have a high demand and unwilling to pay for the samples.
3.        Your competitors. They took samples to analysis the quality, price etc.
4.        For a certain project or equipment. Once the project is confirmed, you get no information from them anymore.
5.        The potential customers
According to the analysis above, we can easily tell that most of them are not potential customer. Then how can we judge the potential customer from their inquiries? Thus we can save the sample cost and freight cost. And that’s the way a sample works.
